Into the Future with Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reinhardt
Professor Dr. Ulrich Reinhardt, is a futurologist and head of science of the „Stiftung für Zukunftsfragen – eine Initiative von British American Tobacco“. Additionally, he is a professor in empirical futurology at the department of economics at a major universtiy in the north of Germany.
We invited a selection of our friends and partners to enjoy a drink with us and listen to the intriguing keynotes held by Prof. Dr Ulrich Reinhardt and Tom Vollmer.
The little get together was under the motto:
“The future world of work and how Crowdsourcing will change the marketing”
The first presentation was held by Prof. Dr Ulrich Reinhardt, who has the rare ability to pack a lot of numbers and statistics into an easy to listen to presentation. Here are the three most intriguing facts:
1. As the birthrate declines and the technology progresses, the world of work will change and we have to prepare the next generations through an improved education system.
2. More and more women are part of the workforce, but equal rights are still behind in Germany. A lot of work has to be done, to reach the standards of other countries like Norway, Denmark and Japan.
3. Unconditional basic income is an idea we seriously have to evaluate because of the rapid technological progress. Many people will loose their jobs to Artificial Intelligence. The test runs with unconditional income like in Switzerland were successful yet a political buy in is still rather far out.
The second keynote was presented by Tom Vollmer and was all about the 101 of Crowdsourcing and how we can use the change of work to our advantage.
Summed up, we had a lot of fun and gained further insights into the way we will work and organize marketing in the future. If you want to get more impressions of that evening, check out our Instagram.
